hi, I have a worksheet where the displayed data is extracted from an Access db. I use VBA and DAO (I think) for this. I would like the user to be able to make changes that will be updated in the database. I'm really not sure about a good way to approach this. One method I saw for keeping track of changes made was to attach some code to the worksheet_change event. This also involved testing a global variable that kept track of whether other code that was loading data was in the middle of running. See what I mean? Does that sound like a good way to do it? I could simply require the user to click on an update button and at the very worst the code could update the db with every line from the worksheet whether changed or not. Does anybody who has done something like this before have any advice?

Is there a shortcut key for strikethrough?
Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.
