Pivot Drill Down - Updating Source Data

Hi everyone.

I'm looking for a solution to some data I'm working with in a pivot table.

It's a monthly complaints log that has 9 columns and a varying number of rows (depending on number of complaints).

I've a basic pivot that serves as a 'front end' that summarises the number of complaints in that month (which team etc). We use the drill down facility to analyze the data in more depth.

What we'd like to do next is to be able to put comments against the data that has been drilled down (1 column) and update the original data source. I've googled around and it looks grim in terms of standard functionality, but is there a VBA way that could do this, or perhaps a different way altogether?

Thanks,
Chrizzler

How to total the visible cells?
From the first blank cell below a filtered data set, press Alt+=. Instead of SUM, you will get SUBTOTAL(9,)
