breaking up 1 Long column into multiple short ones

I have done this in the past and cant remember how to do this!
I have one column of data that has 3000 rows, instead of printing 24 pages of just one column, I would like to make multiple columns and print fewer pages-kind of wrapping the column data across.
ANything I have found mentions Text to Columns feature which is not what I need.
Thanks!
