Use of worksheets codename

Can the codename property (Name) of a worksheet be used in an excel formula? If so, what is the correct syntax?
 

Excel Facts

Bring active cell back into view
Start at A1 and select to A9999 while writing a formula, you can't see A1 anymore. Press Ctrl+Backspace to bring active cell into view.
Sort by date Sort by votes
If you mean a formula on a worksheet then as far as I'm aware the answer is no.

Why do you want/need to use the codename?

I thought that this would be useful when inserting a template worksheet, where I can be sure what the (Name) property will be, but not sure what the Name property will be.

How can you be sure of the worksheet codename and/or it's name?

What do you mean by a 'template' worksheet?
