I am still plagued by a computer demon. There is a file in my STARTUP directory and I do not know from whence it came. It has two macros described below. And I cannot delete this file.

Every time I open a new worksheet, it comes with macros from this errant file in the STARTUP. There are two macros: Auto_open and Ck_files. They're driving me crazy.

Any thoughts or mere words of sympathy would be greatly appreciated.

Can you AutoAverage in Excel?
There is a drop-down next to the AutoSum symbol. Open the drop-down to choose AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, or MIN
Hi
In windows explorer, goto your App. path
Should be C:ProgramFilesMicrosoft OfficeOfficeXlstartDemon.xls
Kill it there

Just in case your almost as dense as I can be, the file is called Personal.xls not Demon.xls....
Kill everything or copy to another folder...
