Excel macro. how to fix a column so that it could only enter

in my assignment,i need to fix a few column so that the column only allow user to enter numeric number in that particular column.it will prompt the user if the user enter non numeric number in it.Pls help me since i am new in excel macro.

Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.
Did the assignment specifically say it had to be a macro?

If not, just use Data Validation.
