can macro parse multiple excel files

Hi, I wanted to know if it was possible to open up all the excel files within a certain folder and get data from certain columns within each of those files and place that data into one excel file. Assuming you would not know the names of the files within that folder.

Someone posted a similar question a couple of days ago but didn't get any reply.

AJ, thanks alot. I think it's exactly what I am looking for. I haven't tried it yet to see if it would work for me, but it seems very promising. Thanks again.
