Hello all,

I tried searching for this problem but to no avail.

Has anyone ever seen this behaviour:
Sometimes, the odd file or shortcut opens in Excel but it is transparent. I can see the Excel title bar and toolbars, and my desktop beneath. The file itself is invisible. Excel does not hang, it can be closed.
If I try to open the same file using File/Open, it works fine, but if I double-click a shortcut or the file itself, I get this behaviour and its driving me crazy.

I am running Excel 2000 on Windows 2000

Thanks for any helpful info!

Excel Facts

Last used cell?
Press Ctrl+End to move to what Excel thinks is the last used cell.
Shouldn't that be "Ghost Mode"? I think "Stealth Mode" is Excel for Mac only.
