When I create a pivot table, I can double click on a value in the table and Excel creates a new sheet in the workbook with the details behind this data point.

One of my co-workers cannot do this. Is there a setup item that will enable this feature?

Thanks.

How to show all formulas in Excel?
Press Ctrl+` to show all formulas. Press it again to toggle back to numbers. The grave accent is often under the tilde on US keyboards.

Make sure that both "Enable drilldown" and "Save data with table layout" PivotTable options are checked. Right-click on the PivotTable and choose Options... from the popup menu.

Yes, both boxes are checked and still no drill down.

Any other ideas?

Thanks.

Sorry, I must ask... where exactly are they clicking? Is the worksheet protected?

That's a fair question.

The workbook/sheet is not protected. She creates them all the time as the rest of us do. All of us are able to drill down by clicking on an amount in the pivot table. A new sheet is created with all of the details.

I've tried it on her machine without success. (I told her to upgrade to 2000) But if in the meantime we can get it to work for her, that would be great.

Thanks for your time.
