Hi all,

I have a cell with todays date using the "=TODAY()" comand. Using this cell I want to have another saying what month we are in ie. "April". Any ideas how I do this?

Many thanks

=TEXT(A1,"mmmm")

where A1 contains your TODAY formula.

Cheers, I don't think I'd ever have found that. I'm sure I'd have got it working some way but it would've been a hell of a lot more complicated than that.

Thanks Again

Actually I've got another quick question.

Now that I've got my wonderful new month name, how do I incorporate it into a graph heading so it will automaticaly update when we enter a new month?
