Updating Pivot Tables in shared workbooks

Anyone know how to do this?

I tried using ThisWorkbook.RefreshAll method but got an 'Object method failed' error.

Thanks for any help.

Select a hidden cell
Somehide hide payroll data in column G? Press F5. Type G1. Enter. Look in formula bar while you arrow down through G.
You can't update pivot tables in shared workbooks, you would need to unshare them first. An alternative would be to link the data to a separate workbook and create the pivot table in that.
