Illegal Op error when printing Excel to .pdf (PDFWIN32.DLL)

I have an Excel 95/97 file that I open and print to Acrobat PDFWriter in order to convert to .pdf for the web. This works without a hitch for some templates, but others give me the illegal operation error when I attempt to print/save the new .pdf file. In the details it states that Excel caused an invalid page fault in PDFWIN32.dll

I searched the web to find if anyone posted anything regarding this error and found nothing except for the removal of Acrobat. The odd thing is that on some days this works without a hitch and others it has the error.

Any ideas or suggestions as to how I can resolve this issue are greatly appreciated. Thank you
