How do I change the defult copy and paste behaviour in Excel 2000?

It seems to clear the clipboard (1) after pasting or (2) after switching to a different application.

I want Excel to leave whatever I copy on the clipboard for multiple pasting, or whatever else. Like all my other applications!

Excel Facts

Shade all formula cells
To shade all formula cells: Home, Find & Select, Formulas to select all formulas. Then apply a light fill color.
I didn't know you could?!

I'm sure you have "ticked" the Clipboard toolbar under View->Tools->Clipboard but at least my response will keep your Q to the fore!

Cheers - Paul

Maybe what I need to do is turn off the multiple clip feature. All I want to do is:
select cells, ctrl-C, click new cell, ctrl-V. Now when I click on another cell and ctrl-V nothing happens!!

Hello Friend.
If you are in Excel, ctrl+C *2 Copies your info to the clipboard and it should stay there irrespective of what you do ,until you clear all. This should give you multiple uses for your paste segment. If you are still struggling,E-mail me and I will tell you more.Good Luck
