RANGES

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
A range is a collection of cells, for example A1:a10 is a range. To name your range goto insert/name/define. In the popup window on the top line place a name, example Totals, on the bottom line where it says refer to put the cell range. In this case A1:a10....That's all there is to it.

Another way to name a range is to select it, click on the cell indicator of the formula bar, and type in the name.
