Does anyone know how launch a non office application from VB? Wheather dos or windows?

Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.

Yeah,

Have a quick look in VBA help for the "Shell" command. You can use this to run DOS and Windows apps.
