Hi folks,

I need to creat a makro to search and replace several "x" in a colum and change it into "n.m.". This in 'bout 20 different workbooks.

therefore i like to create a makro that goes for a range, search the "x" and replaces it with "n.m."

does someone has a idee how i can put "search and replace" into a vba code?

greetz

The best way to do these sort of things is to use the macro recorder and actually record your steps. Then you can modify the code to suit your needs. The macro recorder is found under Tools | Macro | Record New Macro.
