i am making a chart in which the cell range can change on-the-fly. for example, sometimes i may want to use cells B12:E13 and others i would use B12:G14 for the chart. what i want to know is if i can store that cell range in a separate cell and then somehow tell my chart to use that reference to select the range to plot?

Excel Facts

Will the fill handle fill 1, 2, 3?
Yes! Type 1 in a cell. Hold down Ctrl while you drag the fill handle.
I am trying to work with the Use a drop down box to select the starting value in 3) example in the Dynamic Charts tutorial... the only problem i am having is that when i select another option from my drop down list, my chart does not update automatically. i have to create a new chart using my "names" that i created to see the values change...
