I'm currently trying to convert a cell which contains the number of seconds into another cell which show the seconds as minutes and seconds using the following formula:

=QUOTIENT(C2,60)&MOD(C2,60)

where C2 is the cell containing the number of seconds I want to convert. My problem is that the formula works well but I've found now that I cannot display the results as mm:ss which is what I'd like.

Is anyone able to help me?

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.

Try formula = =C2/(60*60*24)

and custom format cell as "mm:ss"
