Hi there,

I have a question about using Excel as an interface to a commercial simulation program. (gPROMS)

Excel interface is used as a data provider and output reader. The problem is, when i want to change a value of a cell (to change the input data for the simulation), or just press enter to make a new entry to any cell in the Excel chart the simulation stops at my simulation program until i give a new value and press enter again. And if i don't give a quick new entry, simulation terminates itself.

Some macros have been used to make this Excel interface.
My question is; is there any easy way to prevent this simulation stop during data update in my chart? Or is the only way to write another macro?

Thanks for your help.
