I have a report that I export to Excel where certain cells have color highlights to identfy a condition of origin for the data in the cells. I need to sort the worksheet and keep the color highlights with the original cells. Is there any way to do this? Thanks.

Will the fill handle fill 1, 2, 3?
Yes! Type 1 in a cell. Hold down Ctrl while you drag the fill handle.
Disable Conditional Formatting before sorting the data and re-enable after sorting.
