    I asked it wrong before, so I'll try again.

    I need a formula that will count how many NS are in E20 thru M20 also, I need in the same formula to enter a N/A if there are Quit or Inj in the same E20 thru M20. is that possible? (Also, I need it to return a blank cell if there aren't any NS, Quit or Inj entered.

    No, unless the data are such that only one of the conditions holds, for example,

    when CountOf(NS)>0, Quit and NJ do not occur in the range.
