I need to list all my negative values in the sheet as:
m8
as opposed to the normal:
-8
and so on. My issue is that I need to also find the minimum in the range as well using the min() function. How can I have Excel display m8 and use it as the numerical value -8?

Your help is appreciated as I am horribly frustrated at this point.

Excel Facts

Remove leading & trailing spaces
Save as CSV to remove all leading and trailing spaces. It is faster than using TRIM().
Use this custom format on the cells:

#,##0_);"m"#,##0

Doing so will still allow you to use it as a value.
