I have a rather large workbook that when I open, gives the message that there are links to other workbooks, would I like to update them. There shouldn't be any links to other workbooks. If there are accidentally links, I really need to find them so as not to mess up my data. Is there any way to determine where these links might be?

Can you sort left to right?
To sort left-to-right, use the Sort dialog box. Click Options. Choose "Sort left to right"
First thing is find out where they are linked to. Use Edit->Links. This will tell you the link. Then search on the keyword to see where the link is and delete it. Of course, I have come across the problem where I change from Link A to Link B and some of Link A still shows up where only B should be. The only way I have found around this is clearing the cell and reentering the information. Hope this helps.
