Is there a limit to the # of named ranges you can have in a workbook.

I have created some with VBA - they are in the name list box, but not available for formulas. What am I doing wrong ?

I'm not aware of any limit regarding the name space in Excel.

    How many did you create?
If you're in doubt, you could eliminate a few that did work and see if the newly added ones work.

If none works in the formulas, there must be something wrong wrt their definitions. You can check this possibility by inspecting the Refers to box. By the way: What kind of errors do you get?

FYI: Limits in Excel can be found in help under Microsoft Excel Specifications. It says the number of named ranges is limited only by available memory.
