Moving file confuses macros

I have developed a file in Excel 97 on my local PC that contains about 20 Subs all located in "This Workbook". I moved the file to a network where it is opened in Excel 2002 (OfficeXP). When attempting to execute any of the macros, an error box opens saying that a file with the same name is already open. None of the macros points to any file by name or path but obviously there is something doing that. I'd be grateful for ideas.

What is the last column in Excel?
Excel columns run from A to Z, AA to AZ, AAA to XFD. The last column is XFD.
I might have figured this out. I could run any of the macros from Alt-F8. Seems the macros assigned to my custom toolbar buttons were still pointing to the same file name on the a: drive. I can reassign all the macros to the custom toolbar buttons but is there an easier way?
