Any tips out there on how to easily unmerge or delete cells that are included in a list that I would like to sort? The data that I am interested in are not included in the merged cells, so I do not care if those cells are completely lost or not.

Excel Facts

Copy a format multiple times
Select a formatted range. Double-click the Format Painter (left side of Home tab). You can paste formatting multiple times. Esc to stop

Free ASAP-Utilities has an option to unmerge selected cells, downloadable at:

asap-utilities.com

if your OS is Windows.
