I have a spreadsheet of data that has a few hidden columns.

However, if I copy and paste or even paste special it still copies the hidden columns and exposes them so they now show.

When I use an AutoFilter and copy data it never copies the hidden rows, which is great.
So is there a method I could use in the same way for my hidden columns, so that it only pastes what shows?

Excel Facts

Difference between two dates
Secret function! Use =DATEDIF(A2,B2,"Y")&" years"&=DATEDIF(A2,B2,"YM")&" months"&=DATEDIF(A2,B2,"MD")&" days"
Try this: select the data, press F5, click Special, tick Visible Cells Only and click OK. Then copy and paste.
