importing

I dont know if anyone can help me with this problem(which involves both excel and access)I am having I dont know where the problem is.

I am trying to create a table in access by importing data from an excel file but am unable to do so I get an error message. It shows the some of the value in access as "#Num!"

I dont know if this is the right place to post this problem. If possible can anyone refer me to a good news group for access ...... something as good as this one?
