Linking multiple Excel 97 files

I need to consolidate data from Mutiple xls files and I cannot figure out how to pull data in with a Pivot Table.

Is a Pivot table the answer? or is there a better solution?

The information will be "Live" so the destination file will have to update as the linked data is updated
 

Excel Facts

Remove leading & trailing spaces
Save as CSV to remove all leading and trailing spaces. It is faster than using TRIM().
