I have got a calculated field in a pivot table, the formula doesn't accept the if(iserror(.......) command. Is there a way to handle this type of error in a pivot table?

Excel Facts

Remove leading & trailing spaces
Save as CSV to remove all leading and trailing spaces. It is faster than using TRIM().
Click to the pivot table Options menu and check the 'For error values, show:' box, leaving it blank if you don't want to display anything.

Not sure if this comment will ever be read but I just came across this over 10 years later and found it also of great assistance.

So powerful this forum. Thanks all to those who contribute and make it so.

This doesn't appear to work when I use the AVG function in the pivot table. Any suggestions?
