Merge Cells - Wrapping Text?

Hi All,
I have been merged a few cells together, horizontally, and attempted to Wrap Text in the Merged Cell. It appears to not work! Does anyone know whether it is possible?

I does work in Excel 2000.

What does not work is Automatically resizing the row height. You have to manually change it to view all the text.

If you wrap on a single cell Excel can adjust without a problem.
