Hi,

I am having difficulties when I try and change the name property of a cell that already has a name. Basically this doesn't seem to do anything!
So I tried to add them to the names object and this does work, however the old entry still exists. Basically, any suggestions on how to avoid this would be appreciated. I could delete the offending name if I could use the RefersTo property to find it (i.e. for the current cell I know the refersto, its just the cell reference, so tell excel to delete all names with that refersto value ... but I don't know how to do this!

Any help appreciated.

Carl

Excel Facts

How to total the visible cells?
From the first blank cell below a filtered data set, press Alt+=. Instead of SUM, you will get SUBTOTAL(9,)

Activate the option Insert|Name|Define.
Select the name that you want to delete.
Activate Delete.
