Remove document password in Excel 2010

I have a document that was created in Excel 2010 and requires a password to open. How do I remove the password so that it is no longer required?

Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.

Do you know the password for the spreadsheet (I assume you mean spreadsheet and not document)?

If you do, then once open click File -> Info -> Unprotect Workbook.

If you do not know the password then unfortunatly we cannot provide ways of bypassing spreadsheet security, please read section 20 of the posting guidelines:
