I'm taking statistics this semester. I understand he subject; but when using excel, I have problems entering formulas.
I'm having problems with probability. I'm having trouble understanding what the x range, the prob range, and lower limit. I thought I understood; but when putting the information in, i got NUM#. What am i doing wrong?

Excel Facts

Repeat Last Command
Pressing F4 adds dollar signs when editing a formula. When not editing, F4 repeats last command.
Do you have a formula you tried but it doesn't work?

Don't be shy. We've all written TERRIBLE formulas before we got them to work.

Give us a scenario. It's much easier for us to help. Cell refs, contents, etc.

Use the Help | Contents and Index menu command's Index tab search for "PROB worksheet function". The "Remarks" sections lists the possible reasons for the #NUM! error.
