Copy format only from cell above

Dear All

Could I trouble someone to knock up a macro that will copy all of the formatting from the cell immediately above, a bit like Ctrl D.

I did have a bash but somehow it didn't copy the bold format.

As ever my grateful thanks for any help that you can provide

Just use Paste Special. Give this a go:

With Selection
    .Offset(-1, 0).Copy
    .PasteSpecial Paste:=xlPasteFormats
End With
