Hi guys
Ok i'm setting up a delay reporting system for products,
and it will be someone's duty to report on all these delays, and
so for every delay, he will receive an attached
spreadsheet, which will be just one row with about 10
columns on info. He will receive roughly 30-50 a month of these separate sheets via email attachments.
Now, he needs to take each individual worksheet attached and collate them into one monthly report.

My question-does excel facilitate the collation of separate worksheets at all ? Or is really the simplest way of gettin the values of these different sheets into one workbook, to cut and paste everything?
Any help greatly appreciated
cheers
olly

Excel Facts

Repeat Last Command
Pressing F4 adds dollar signs when editing a formula. When not editing, F4 repeats last command.
ok, what exactly does consolidate do though? the help files in excel don't seem to shed much light

Well it adds the data up. If you check Create links to source data, Excel creates an outline, which is collapsed to show only subtotals. Beneath that are formulas referencing the source workbook(s). You can remove the outline if you don't need it.

The best way to see if it does what you want is to try it out on a couple of test workbooks.

Ok cool, basically all i need it to do is paste over the values from a separate workbook, or is that best done with a macro ?
