Hi skalavati,
Yes you can do it. You have to put on your Toolbar the "Clear all"* command.
Right click on empty space on your toolbar
choose Customise, Commands, Edit and drag the "Clear all"* Button to your toolbar.
*Hope this is clear as I translated some terms.
