A set of formatted data with borders is deleted with the help of the delete button, only the data gets deleted, is there a way where i can delete the whole thing at one stroke,

Excel Facts

VLOOKUP to Left?
Use =VLOOKUP(A2,CHOOSE({1,2},$Z$1:$Z$99,$Y$1:$Y$99),2,False) to lookup Y values to left of Z values.
will you please explain.. what the delete button is.. and what exactly you do..

Hi skalavati,
Yes you can do it. You have to put on your Toolbar the "Clear all"* command.
Right click on empty space on your toolbar
choose Customise, Commands, Edit and drag the "Clear all"* Button to your toolbar.

*Hope this is clear as I translated some terms.
