Hi all,

I'm having this problem that I have a main workbook with links to 4 different other workbooks. When I renew the links to these workbooks one by one, I get a Dr Watson access violation for one of those workbooks.

If I open the main workbook as well as the problem one it's erfering to, I don't have a Dr Watson error.

Does anyone have a solution to my problem so that I can update the links to workbooks, without having to open them?

Thanks in advance,

Diederick

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.

Which windows are you using?
Which Service Pack does that windows have?
Which Serivce Release are you using with Excel?

I've had various Dr. Watsons because of all of the above.

We use NT sp4, Excel sr2 and it did the trick.
Also, Recently the Team Mangers have been getting Dr. Watsons and installing the FULL office suite remedied this.

Hope this helps.
