Group Problem

After subtotaling my data, I cannot seem to open up the groups using the numbered buttons. I'm getting an error message saying 'cannot shift objects off sheet'.
I can expand & condense the groups individually, but I need numbered group buttons to work.
What's happening!?

Excel Facts

Using Function Arguments with nested formulas
If writing INDEX in Func. Arguments, type MATCH(. Use the mouse to click inside MATCH in the formula bar. Dialog switches to MATCH.
Problem solved.
I had a comment in one of the cells and it didn't seem to like it. Be aware!

that's weird......

was it right down the end of the 65,000 rows or very right over by column IV or something ?

I thought grouping "hid" as oppose to "inserted" rows and columns....!

As Jack maintains, Excel is as enigmatic as the female of the species
