Is it possible to use Listbox Headings with AddItem?

Hi everyone,

I'd like to use the ColumnHeads feature of a listbox control but according to the vba help you can only show headings if the data is linked to cells on the spreadsheet. I need to populate the list using AddItem or the List property, so is there really no way to show column headings without linking?

Many thanks

PS: And no, I don't want to do solve this by copying the data into cells and then linking to them, because the process must be very fast.

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
Thought I would bring this to the front again, since I am in a similiar situation. Does anyone out there know the solution?

Add custom ColumnHeads?
