    do you know if there is any way to color the sheetname tabs in Excel? --The office is used to seeing the sheetnames, categorized by color, from the Lotus 123 days.

    Yup, you can do it if you've got Excel XP a.k.a. Excel 2002.

    I know because I looked at the screenshots on the Excel XP box last week.

    If you've got anything less than XP, nope.

    Excel 2002 ..
    right click on Sheet Tab .. set colour or such like from the palette.
