I have an Excel add-in that downloads database data directly into my spreadsheet. Yesterday I renamed it "file-copy.xls" and renamed it back to the original "file.xls". IT KNOWS. Now it won't download any data.

Error is: CANNOT RENAME A SHEET TO THE SAME NAME AS ANOTHER SHEET, A REFERENCED OBJECT LIBRARY OR A WORKBOOK REFERENCED BY VISUAL BASIC.

The database provider denies all knowledge of any error like this. I looked in MS Technet and couldn't find anything close.

Any suggestions? How does it know it was renamed?

Why can't spreadsheets drive cars? They crash too often!
I appreciate the simplicity of your answer but I did already. I've been using the spreadsheet with its original name but somehow it "knows" that it was renamed. This interface is a dog. I have 7 unanswered support requests with the interface provider. I just wish I knew more about VB and how the interface works with Excel.
