I am working with a file that has 55,000 rows. I often have to insert a column and then write a formula based on the values in the other columns. The only way I know how to copy the formula down the column is to drag the corner of the cell all the way down. I thought there was a way to do this by using ctrl shift end or something like that, but I don't remember how. Thanks.

Excel Facts

Quick Sum
Select a range of cells. The total appears in bottom right of Excel screen. Right-click total to add Max, Min, Count, Average.
Re: copy formula down column without having to drag the corn

After selecting all range in the column, write the formula in the first cell on the top, and then Ctrl + Enter.

Other way is write the formula in the first cell, then select that cell and put the cursor in the right down corner of the cell and double click....
