I need to graph sales figures for the last 24 months - how can i automatically count back 24 items from the latest entry and the chart be updated. I don't want to delete the 1st bit of data and it's time-consuming to hide it each time. (I have about 30 of these to do !)

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
Why don't you chart from a PivotTable with a Page field that only selects the last 24 months?
