Hello, everybody
I have a chart that represents a complicated equation, and a table that is the solution of another equation (this solution is just a point of coordinates x,y). I had to combine both in only one chart: the first one is always the same curve (absolutely no changes), and the point do change its position with input data. Now, I need to give this point some special effect; in fact, the suggestion was to make it flash every X seconds, and I thought to make it change its colour every X seconds too. Is it possible? If it is, how?

Excel Facts

Quick Sum
Select a range of cells. The total appears in bottom right of Excel screen. Right-click total to add Max, Min, Count, Average.
Only thing I know of off the cuff is that you can change any point in an excel graph to a picture (button, graphic, Autoshape, etc), by copying what you'd like to use, selecting the point, and CNTRL+V pasting. This at least gives you the opportunity to customize the graph a bit more than the standard tools in the graph menu.

Hope that helps :)

Other than Thomas' idea, the only other items I can think of are (a) use error bars to create a vertical and a horizontal line from the special point to both axis, and (b) use VBA for special effects, though, IMO, it's not worth the effort.
