Hi Folks:

First post and fast accepting a newb at Excel.
I am reading Mr Excel's VBA and Macros: Excel 2010 book.

In it, chapter 1, page 26, it says "Press End Key followed by the down-arrow key to move to the last row of the data".

This does not work with my keyboard. When I hit End Key (on 2 locations on keybaord, one being in the number pad to right), the cursor does not move, but I get a message in the lower left of the spreadsheet saying "End Mode", immediately to the left of the word "Ready".

However, when I hit CTRL-End, it moves me not to the bottom row, but to one column over and one row down from the last cell of data.
ie. If the last cell of data is D10, CTRL-End moves to to cell E11.

I am using a Logitech keyboard.

This is becoming a serious problem since I am taking a course in macro development, and my macros cannot be duplicated by the course instructor for grading.

Any ideas?

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand
press the END key then after that the arrow key ( under the right shift key). If you go to B11 then END then UP arrow it will take you to B2 #1

Ah, I see Bluefeather. I am not finishing the command.
Thanks for the help. I will see if I can get this incorporated into my macro.

That may explain/eliminate another problem I am having with the macro, but I will have to test this first step before going on about my potential second problem.

thanks again.

Well, I realize this is an old post, but I'm having the same problem with a little twist. Using Excel 365, I have a sheet where the end down arrow key combination does not work, but when I type in the data that bluefeather8989 posted, the END-Down Arrow key combination works properly.
