I have a purchase order starts with No. 1
I would like that everytime I make another order the number should be added by 1.
like as A1 = 1
next order A1 should be equal to 2 and so on...
and It's always the same .xlt file.

Hi Lina
How do you create another order?
That is when the value would be incremented.
Correct?
Need a few more details.
Thanks,

Create a file for example called ordnos.xls

in A1 enter the starting No. ie 1 and save the file

in your .XLT template,in the order No cell

enter the formula =max(pathfilenameA1:a999)+1
