Hi,

I'm sure it's easy but, I have two columns of data a1:a300 and b1:b300 and each contain part codes like 01ABC02.
Some codes are repeated in each column and
I want to find (and display the codes) the codes in column a that match the codes in column b. I've tried Or(Exact) but I think that only works with text only.

Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks

How to total the visible cells?
From the first blank cell below a filtered data set, press Alt+=. Instead of SUM, you will get SUBTOTAL(9,)
Hi,

In C1 type the following:

=COUNTIF($A$1:$A$300,B1)

and copy down your list. Any non-zero results in column C indicate that there is a match of the cell in column B in column A.

You can expand this to report the actual value, but you can easily AutoFilter the resulting list as well.

HTH,
Jay
