I want to add a text via macro in my sheet.
How to do it.
Thanks.

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.

Is that it?
Tom
Thanks TOM : That's what I was looking for.
Still a little question:
The size of this text is 24.
Now I want to add a date as 23.04.2002 but I receive #### because the size is to great.I want to keep^also a size of 24 for that date.
Have you a solution?
Thanks in advance.

Would this do?

Sheet1.Range("A1") = "Put Some Text Here"
Columns("A").Autofit
Yes that works. But the size of my columns are changed. What I want is to keep the size of the columns and that the date is displayed over 2 or 3 columns.
Is that possible?

If there's nothing in the column next to it, and your horizontal alignment is set to General then it should appear over a few columns.
